I had hauled a few eyeshadow duos from L. A. Colors. Earlier, I had reviewed the duo “Toasty” and today I have picked up “Mermaid” for review. Read on for more details on this eyeshadow duo.

My Experience with L.A. Colors Duo Tone Eyeshadow Mermaid:
This eyeshadow comes in a round, black-colored plastic palette with a see-through lid. The clear lid helps to easily spot the shade from makeup stash if you own more than one of these eyeshadow duos. The brand name is embossed on the lid. The lid fits very securely with an audible click, but the palette is very fragile and I ended up breaking the lid of the palette. There is a mirror and an applicator with this palette. Overall, the packaging looks cheap and it is really fragile.
The name “Mermaid” given to this duo is quite misleading as you would imagine that the palette might have some gorgeous blue and green hints, but it’s only a silvery white and a purple eyeshadow instead. The soft lilac purple shade has some pastel hue, which makes it fit to create a perfect summery makeup look. Now, let us discuss each shade separately.
