I had already reviewed all the variants I owned from this range, and then I met Ahana and picked up a few more shades. Today?s review is going to be on Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick in the shade Code Red. My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pops Matte Lipstick Code Red:
Elle 18 matte lipstick comes in a cute black packaging with a lovely girl?s face printed over the cap. But I prefer color-coded packagings as they make it easy for me to spot the shade I want. The cute tube is easy to carry around. But, the twist mechanism isn?t very sturdy. Otherwise, I really like this super affordable, cute and girly packaging.
Code Red is a beautiful bold red shade with a hint of maroon. It looks bright and bold on my lips. I am very choosy about reds. I mostly prefer deep red shades as such shades look quite gorgeous on my skin tone. This shade is more of a pink toned warm red lipstick which absolutely looks stunning on Indian skin tones. It looks different under different lights. Under natural daylight, the shade looks like a pure red and at night it appears to be a maroon-red shade.

But it complements most of the skin tones well and I feel it’s a nice party shade. It doesn?t have any shimmer in it....
