Well, one biggest New Year resolution that I?m looking forward is losing weight by opting keto diet. Keto diet is a well known low carb diet, which is also known as a Ketogenic diet. The ketogenic diet is also referred as carb diet, low carb high fat diet and low carb diet, which essentially helps to cut down excess from the fats easily. It is a diet where the body generally produces ketones in the liver, which is further used as energy.

Keto diet involves a natural process of “Ketosis”, where the body initiates to help us to survive with low food intake. During this state, a human body starts producing ketones, which is produced from the breakdown of fats in the liver. The goal of keto diet is to force your body into a good metabolic state which allows cutting down the fats completely. It basically revolves around starvation of calories, but it is actually due to starvation of carbohydrates. If your body is adaptive to consumption of more fats, you can follow this diet.
