First, a little history. Many of the old IMBB readers already know how we used to buy these original lipsticks MAC, Chanel, Bobbi Brown etc from their stores for swatches on IMBB. Some of them Rati liked and kept them in her makeup kitty and used them. But most of the others were kept stored and forgotten as the new makeup piled up. Unfortunately now when we see them, there’s so much new makeup here that we still cannot use them. A terrible waste of money really. Except, when Rati Beauty came, we had a chance to gift these to our app users. If they want it, they could have it. Literally free of cost. We only wanted the shipping cost. So we had MAC lipsticks sales for the past two months and gave away our old MAC lipsticks. We thought we would make you guys happy. Except one thing. At both times, the first-comment-first-buy flash sale lasted barely 30 seconds before all the lipsticks were sold out. Many of you were still commenting. And only a few of you, those who were fast to comment, could get the lipsticks. So those who didn’t get the lipsticks turned bitter and blamed us for being unfair. We thought we were giving away our old lipsticks so we would have limited number of buyers. We didn’t expect 600-700 comments on every sale.
