It was STEAMING this weekend. Anyone else having super hot weather" It’s pretty brutal in New York. Most Summer weekends we head upstate and this weekend was no different. We had a beautiful few days enjoying the warm weather. I’m not really a huge fan of the heat and humidity but we did so many things this weekend that I didn’t notice it too badly. One of the things I do hate and miss is eating out. We’ve taken advantage of outdoor dining several times already but when it’s 90+ outside it’s not that enjoyable. Some places def try to make it more enjoyable. We went to a Thai restaurant last week and they literally had a little cooler AC around the table’s umbrella. It was a nice touch! I also miss the movies but somehow, someway my boyfriend managed to find a drive-in last night. An actual drive-in! I’ve never been to a drive-in in my life! I thought they died with the 50s! You know what the best thing about Summer is though" Sitting by the fire and eating S’mores. We lazed by the pool Saturday night and late that night it was just cool enough to sit by the fire pit. Of course, you can’t sit by the fire without graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows am I right" I simply can’t sit by the fire pit without the biggest bag of marshmallows I can find.
