What’s the Beauty Ritual You Miss the Most That COVID Took Away From You"
Last year was the year of self care! Everyone was really into taking care of their skin, their minds, their bodies! Some of us learned to cook, some of sat on the couch to watch our favorite Netflix shows to heal our minds and keep us from watching too much news, some of us took better care of our skin, some of us took long baths and put masks in our hair, some of us decided to walk around the house with a full face of makeup on, some of us just laid in bed and let a good book carry us away from the drama. Whatever way you healed yourself and took care of yourself last year I hope you found comfort in it and it eased your worries and relaxed your mind.
I definitely did a lot of face masks, I definitely walked around the house with red lipstick on, I definitely sat on the couch with excessive amounts of peach highlighter to watch TV (Pedro enjoyed it), I did learn to cook, I did read, I did take long baths, and I did discover the joys of different hair styles especially different braids! I did all these things and it was glorious. COVID may have gotten us all down in the dumps at times but it also gave us a much needed break from the world and other people and allowed us to learn new things, it taught how to enjoy the little things in life, and maybe it brought some of us closer together with our partners, boyfriends, girlfriends, siblings, kids, husbands, wives, etc…! BUT….
It took some things away from us too. Somethings we miss. Like going to the movi...
