Sweetie Pie is one of two Wet n Wild My Melody Liquid Matte Lip Color shades launching with the Wet n Wild My Melody and Kuromi Makeup Collection. This long-wearing lipstick is pretty much the same formula as the MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Lipstick but in limited edition packaging featuring My Melody. Don’t worry Kuromi fans! You’ll get a goth-y purple Wet n Wild Kuromi Liquid Matte Lip Color shade in this collection.
I’m surprised they didn’t go with a nude pink to match My Melody’s little bunny ears! Instead they went with a hot fuchsia pink which is fun for Summer looks!

I know, I know you’re thinking you won’t wear this anytime with masks in season at the moment. But no worries, it sets to a matte, transfer-proof finish so wearing it under your mask is complete an option. This arrives in the same packaging as Liquid Catsuit and the formula is the same as well. The only major difference here is the packaging. They went with a pale pink packaging with black accents and our darling, kawaii My Melody strikes a bashful pose on the barrel.

Like the Wet n Wild x My Melody x Kuromi Blushlighter Palette and Kuromi Eyeshadow Palette this lipstick has a strong plastic strawberry fragrance and scent. I feel like they were trying to capture that quintessential Sanrio eraser, gum, stationary fragrance but they didn’t quite get it right.
