Urban Decay 00s Soundtrack Eyeshadow Palette ($25 or 2 for $40) is one of four new, limited edition Decades Mini Eyeshadow Palettes that contain six shades each which were recently released exclusively at Ulta and or Urban Decay’s website. Too Faced did a few mini eyeshadow palettes recently as well! I guess everyone wants to do these little stocking stuffer sized eyeshadow palettes for the Holidays! It’s a refreshing change from the monster eyeshaodw palettes we’ve come to expect from Urban Decay and Too Faced.
Each Urban Decay Mini Eyeshadow Palette celebrates a different decade with colors inspired by that particular ten year period. I dunno what I associate with the 2000s makeup wise! I guess contouring and nude eyeshadow but the Urban Decay 00s Soundtrack Eyeshadow Palette doesn’t quite capture that vibe. This palette went with more of a sunset selection of shades with smoke smokiness thrown in.
If I were traveling more I’d appreciate the size of this palette a heck of a lot more. It’s a really nice travel size palette and takes up absolutely no room at all in a makeup bag but still packs six nicely sized shades (0.02 oz each. Each palette is a little bigger than a business card and is about an inch thick with a nicely sized mirror inside. The shade wells are a good size so I didn’t struggle dipping my brush in them and all the shade names are printed below each shadow. It’s a cute, portable palette with a solid magnet...
