Maybelline The Matte Bar Eyeshadow Palette ($9.99) arrives just in time for Fall 2018 with 12 silky matte shades inspired by the streets of New York. I’m from New York, I’m not inspired. Not to say I don’t like shades like this! I do! But I’m not sure it puts me in a New York State of mind. Sorry!
Anyway, since I’m obviously in the mood to rant let me also say it annoys me this is available right now in one place. Where you might ask" Maybelline’s website. Annoying. Can’t I just go to CVS and pick this up" It would make life a lot easier. Why are brands like Maybelline, Physicians Formula, Wet n Wild, and Milani all migrating their newest launches to their website" Eh…who I am kidding it probably saves them money as they don’t have to cut the funds with anyone. All money made goes right into their pockets! Makes sense but I find it really annoying having to shop drugstore makeup on different websites. I don’t even know how much Maybelline charges for shipping! Most site have a $25-30 minimum which again, I find annoying! Because say I just want only the palette and there’s that $25 minimum shipping…blah! That means I have to spend $9.99 for the palette and an additional $15 for other stuff I don’t want nor need.
