Sephora DIY Mask Tool Set ($24) feels like one of those tool sets I need in my masking life. I actually dig this a lot. First off, I mask a lot and although, I typically prefer sheet masks I do use quite a few cream or gel masks too. Now, sheet masks are easy! Rip ’em open, place them on your face, sit around for a while, and toss them! Simple, easy, no mess. Creams, liquids, gels, well, those are a little messier to deal with. Most of those masks don’t come with spatulas or applicators which means you have to dig around your own stash for some sort of applicator. Sometimes you even have to mix some them!
This little Sephora DIY Mask Tool Set has possibilities to make masking life much easier. The set includes a mixing bowl, a small towel, two silicone applicators, and a fan brush. It’s pretty much everything you need for a successful mask application sans the mess. I love the idea of scooping some of my favorite Peter Thomas Roth’s masks into the little bowl and applying them with one of the spatulas or even the fan brush. Seems like a nice, mess-free way to mask! Not sure I want to pay $24 for the set in all honesty but if it should go on sale I’d be all over it.
