Winter Special DIY: Anti-Dullness Moisturising Hair Mask
Hey, beauties!
I didn?t get much time to take care of my hair this winter. I was interning at a globally renowned hospital and the long hours left me with little time to do anything else. The daily travelling and pollution took a toll on my hair. The cold weather added to the woes, making shampooing early morning a challenge and my hair total mess, resembling a ?jhadoo?. My black hair looked a dull brown and so lifeless. So I had to resort to some quick fixes before I get back to college from vacation. It took me just 5 minutes to make this mask and it completely transformed my hair in a day. What?s so special" Read on, ladies. This mask used the long tried-and-tested ?nani ka nuskha?: desi ghee! Ghee or clarified butter is one of the staple ingredients in most Indian kitchens. Pure homemade ghee works best; however, store-purchased ghee can also serve your purpose well.
Ingredients Required:
? Desi Ghee
? Honey
? Coconut Oil
Procedure:
Step 1:
I took desi ghee in a bowl. It was on the thicker side due to lower temperatures. You can heat it or use it as it is.
Step 2:
Next, I added honey.
Step 3:
Lastly, I added coconut oil.
Step 4:
The quantity of the ingredients vary according to the length of hair. However, I added more quantity of honey and ghee to give it a mask like consistency. The ratio I used was 2:2:1. I mixed all the ingredients well and applied on my hair strands.
Step 5:
The mixture is viscous and you need to be careful while applying it....
