I was inspired by Prada Resort 2018 makeup look that was showcased yesterday. The models had gorgeous glowing skin, super matte red lips,a bit of brown liner and two braids. I wanted to recreate the look with my own interpretation.
I love glitter. I love blush and my laziness has helped to create a smudged red lip that never fails me. I love wearing bright lips in summer but using a lip liner and getting a perfect edge and then the high maintenance.. it’s a task. So just the way you do a smudged liner, you can also do a smudged lip. After applying the red lipstick, use a concealer brush / round eyeshadow brush to blur the edges. Let me just warn you that this would only work when you are doing matte lips. The creamy lipstick would be all around your mouth and then you’d be blaming me. I think it looks a bit cool and modern too. I like that bit of imperfection in makeup. Everything perfect I feel is a bit dated. I used a lot of blush because I love a good flushed cheek look. And ofcourse, my love for glitter is forever. I just used it on lower third of my lash line.  For eyes, use a light wash of gold eyeshadow on your lid, trace a brown liner on the upper lash line, use a n*de eyeliner on waterline and finish off with lots of mascara. Voila! you are done! I hope you like it and give it a try. You can use less or more of anything you want to do from this look. But it’s the summer look that you can’t go wrong with.
