I really wonder sometimes what comes over me in the makeup shop! When I bought this lip color, I had thought of using this underneath my darker pink shades. This was something I thought to myself, that would give me a solid matte, smudge-proof base to all pink lipsticks. Hence I did not mind the pearly pink shade that came through the tube. My Experience with Revlon Prime Pink 04 Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick: Although, it looks like a regular gloss, I quite like the packaging. It has a nice feel to it. The wand is very average. The lipstick is liquid and quite thick. Owing to the color, this comes out patchy during application. My lips are not pigmented, but I do need to go over with this color again and again to make it even and pinker.

This color is a disaster for all skin tones, unless you are a Barbie doll. This has so much of frost to it, that it makes lips look like a whitish pink shade.

The texture is awful, it takes ages to set and feels super patchy and very sticky. So, the point of using this as a base for other lipsticks is totally out of the window. The lipstick might last you many hours...
