I have been wanting to do a monotone look for a while. So I thought what better than a burgundy look since it is winter time and perfect season for the shade. I did quite a grungy eye makeup look. I wanted it to look quite undone, like a lived-in look with no false lashes and just a seamless blend of eyeshadows. I wore this eye makeup all evening today with a nude lip color but I wanted to do one more new year makeup look for you all. So for that extra kick, you can do a bold lip as well. Totally up to you. Hope you give this look a try.  
For eyes, I just used a peach transition color, above the crease, a matte burgundy eyeshadow all over the lid and un the crease and a shimmery burgundy shade just on the lid to add a little dimension.There is a metallic brown eyeliner on the waterline and some mascara. I also used a warm orangey gold eyeshadow on the inner corner.
