Today?s review will be on a new launch by Maybelline. It is their take on the crayon lipsticks. Although I do feel that Maybelline is a bit too late to join the “crayon lipstick bandwagon”, but keeping that aside, let?s see how they worked for me.

My Experience with Maybelline Color Show Intense Crayon Mystic Mauve:
Packaging: These lipsticks come in a chubby crayon form. They are colour coded so that you can easily identify them. The crayon comes in a twist-up form, so you don?t have to worry about the need to use a sharpener and about product wastage that happens due to sharpening. The cap fits snugly and wouldn’t come off easily. The product is very convenient to use and can be tossed in your handbag without any worry.
Shade: This shade is called ?Mystic Mauve? and I fell in love with it when I first saw the swatch post that Rati did HERE. It is such a lovely dusty rose-mauve shade. It looks stunning on the lips and would work across skin tones. I am super tanned right now, yet this lipstick suits and looks gorgeous on me. It gives your lips a well-defined, fuller look as if you have applied gloss or something.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation is crazy on these crayons. These are some really intensely pigmented lipsticks. One swipe and you are done, it’s that kind of crazy pigmented!

Texture: The texture is amazing. This lipstick feels super light on the lips and the formula is non-drying kind. It takes time to settl...
