I adore Makeup Geek eyeshadows. I don’t have a massive range from them, but whatever colors I have, I enjoy using them thoroughly. “Sidekick” is described as a cinnamon brown with a matte finish, I agree! It is a matte caramel cinnamon color. It’s not your regular brown eyeshadow. It has that rich warmth to it and a little yellowish tone in the color makes it a bit stand out. It is a medium pigmented eyeshadow but can be built up.

I always find that it is best to use this color with an eyeshadow primer underneath or it tends to fade and lighten up as the time passes by. It barely has a fallout. It is a gorgeous color to be worn on its own or used in combination with any other eyeshadow. This also makes a gorgeous transition color. Even to your cool-toned eyeshadow looks, this can add just the right amount of warmth. You can pair this with shimmery eyeshadow / matte eyeshadows./ metallic…you name it and you can do it.
The color would look best on those with medium to light skin tones if you want to wear it as an overall wash, but can be used in combination with any other eyeshadow and that would work for all skin tones.
