As it is launching today in India, I thought of giving you a sneak peek of the shades I got and review one of the prettiest shades in the range. These have been added to the permanent range and hence you can pick them slowly and steadily unlike the limited edition ones. Phew! Okay, here we go!

My Experience with Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolor Tailored To Tease:

Look-wise the packaging is a hybrid between the regular lipsticks by Mac and liquid lip colors. The applicator is handy and user friendly. The ingredients and all details are mentioned on the outer paper carton. The shade name is mentioned on the tube as well as on the carton. The tube is transparent so you can easily find the shade in your stash, also if you have more than one from the same range.
The texture of the lip color is super creamy and smooth. It glides on the lips like butter and settles to an ultra matte finish. The shades have varied consistency, so each one has a different texture. This particular shade is a clear winner in terms of texture and pigmentation. One swipe of the color covers the lips completely and shows up as a true shade. Due to the super matte texture, exfoliation and moisturisation is recommended as it tends to show the dry patches.
