When it comes to perfumes, Santal 33 has become my holy grail fragrance. Also, I wanted to try more fragrances from “Le Labo.” So, on my last trip to Singapore, I went to Escentials in Paragon to get a freshly-prepared Le Labo fragrance for me and the one that I picked up is “Vetiver 46.”

Vetiver 46 by Le Labo is a woody fragrance for women and men. Vetiver 46 was launched in 2006. The nose behind this fragrance is Mark Buxton. The fragrance features labdanum, tahitian vetiver, pepper, guaiac wood, cedar, olibanum, amber, bergamot, vanilla and cloves.

My Experience with Le Labo Vetiver 46 Eau de Parfum:
This perfume comes in a heavy, thick glass bottle with the label mentioning a few of its notes and ingredients. You can also get it customized with your name on the label, as I did The cap is a heavy metal cap with the LE labo engraved on it. Overall, the packaging is just fine and nothing special.
After smelling several Le Labo fragrances, I went for Vetiver and it was a tough task to decide and pick one from so many amazing perfumes out there. After Santal 33, Vetiver 46 is similar in notes to what I prefer. Vetiver 46 is a very dark, deep, slightly smokey, slightly earthy, semi spicy, and semi green fragrance. It is similar to what I like but very different from the fragrances that I have in my stash.
