If you have read my review on “Maroon Mix,” from Lakme’s new 9 to 5 Primer + Matte range, you will know what I am talking about in this post. This is a new line of lipsticks from Lakme where they have kept most of the old shades from 9 to 5 in an improvised texture with an added primer feature. So far so good, and I picked up some bold reds from this collection. “Ruby Rush” is one such color.

My Experience with Lakme 9 to 5 Primer + Matte Lipstick Ruby Rush:
“Ruby Rush” is a classic bright pink plus coral shade. I am sure all of us own one such shade in our stash.

If worn lightly, this could pass for a light red coral. Once you layer, this looks brighter and slightly more pink to me. This does not smudge easily though it does transfer on to tea cups etc. This lipstick has a nice, soft formula without being on the creamy or moisturising side. Although I don?t need a balm or a gloss, women with dry or flaky lips will not be able to do justice to this sort of a matte formula.
