I Tried Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer & Here’s What Happened
Whether it?s splurging on a professional organic spray tan (for my 30thbirthday) or using my favorite at-home self-tanning spray, I?ve really been enjoying faux glows this summer.
The most recent self-tanning product I?ve been using is this Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer.
A wet skin moisturizer is exactly what you think it might be. It?s a moisturizing formula that you apply when you?re wet?like before you dry off after a shower. No matter the season, dry skin is inevitable. And usually right after you take a shower is when your skin is at peak moisture and that?s an easy reason why you should apply lotion quickly.
Applying this slow glow moisturizer the first time was a weird sensation. Not drying off after I took a shower before applying lotion felt so bizarre. I applied a dime size amount of product and slathered in circular motions on my arms and legs first. I kept thinking, it?s going to feel gross and sticky and I?m going to have to shower again! But this product proved me wrong. Once I applied the wet skin lotion I patted dry with a towel and there was absolutely no sticky residue or anything. I was very impressed. Every day I have applied this product, my skin has felt moisturized and soft. I don?t feel like I?ve ever experienced that with other regular body lotions.
I mentioned this earlier but this moisturizer is also a faux tanner. With regular self-tanning lotions, I?ve always dealt with streaks and patches of no color. It took me a solid three day...
