How to Make Anti-Sunburn Spray/Mist at Home
Hello people!
I?m sure most of you all are craving for winters already! It?s so hot here in Mumbai these days! I had planned some DIYs before the start of my final semester of engineering but somehow couldn?t get around to writing the DIYs. And now that my final semester?s exams are going on, I thought about writing it finally. So let?s get started with this simple yet effective DIY.
Ingredients:
1. Green Tea [leaves or bags]
2. Aloe Vera Gel [store bought or gel from the plant]
3. Water
4. Peppermint Essential Oil
Method:
1. Combine the green tea and the water and keep it aside for 5 minutes. I have used green tea bags so it takes about 5 minutes, if you use green tea leaves, leave the two ingredients aside for 6-7 minutes. Do not heat it.
2. Strain the green tea if you have used the leaves. This step is optional, but I would recommend for you to strain the leaves out.
3. Add in some aloe vera gel. I always eye ball things and never measure out stuff. Mix the green tea and the aloe vera gel until the gel is completely dissolved.
4. Finally add 5-6 drops of peppermint essential oil for cool fragrance.
5. Your DIY anti sunburn spray or mist is ready to be used. You can transfer the liquid into a spray pump or in a vessel.
Usage:
1. Keep this in the fridge for at least 15-20 minutes before using.
2. Make sure you have washed your face with a cleanser/facewash before using the spray/mist.
3. Directly spray the liquid onto your face and wait for about 10-15 ...
