This Sunday, April 22 is Earth Day and of course I’m celebrating by highlighting green and natural beauty products. Lately a lot of beauty brands have taken the initiative to be more eco-conscious or eco-friendly and in turn it’s been so much better for the environment and for their customers. There’s also been a rise in both natural skincare and color cosmetics over the last few years with many more organic and clean ingredients hitting the market. I’ve decided to highlight the benefits and why it’s great to consider using more natural beauty products in honor of Earth Day. Why You Should Use Natural Beauty Products Products made with more eco-conscious practices are better for the environment. If you read labels, you’ll notice that so many products are free of harmful chemicals such as parabens and sulfates. Without harmful toxins being formulated into products, they also won’t go into our skin or into the environment.

Many natural and clean beauty products are non-irritating. For those who have sensitive skin like myself this is especially important because harsh chemicals found in non-natural products can be especially irritating.
