I have always stayed away from highlighters, until I happened to pick up this Cream to Powder Highlighter by Essence. Now I cannot wait for parties/weddings to flaunt my highlighter…hihi!

My Experience with Essence Soo Glow Cream to Powder Highlighter:
The packaging is a round transparent plastic body with a see-through top. There is no brush included in this and to me that makes sense as we rarely use the applicators provided. Unless we are travelling, the applicator stays like an unwelcomed guest. The lid shuts with a click so you can carry it safely while travelling. The shade name and number is mentioned at the back of the pan.
The texture is the USP of this product. As it says cream to powder, am amazed to see how beautiful it feels on the skin; blends seamlessly like a light powder which starts of as a cream on the pan. There is no fallout as the texture is creamy to begin with. Also fingers work just as fine on the high points of the face, hence a brush is totally optional.
The shade is a universal shade and would look equally gorgeous on various skin tones. I would call it a ?warm? highlighter considering the yellow warm tone to it. As am new with highlighters, am totally falling in love with this baby.
The staying power varies hugely with/without base. with foundation on, the staying power is around 6 hours. Without any base, the highlighter tends to move easily, hence giving an untidy oily look to the face. I really do not complai...
