My Experience with Essence Cool Nude Long Lasting Lipstick:
The packaging is simple but intelligent. The body is color coded along with a similar sticker at the base and a black band across the body. The body is matte plastic and the cap shuts with a click thus making it travel friendly. Nothing fancy about the packaging but it is definitely smart.

The texture is something I am not very fond of. It tends to slip away from the lips. It is way too creamy and hence gives that uncomfortable feel to the lips when applied. It does not settle and sits on the lips like a mask. That feeling makes me uncomfortable and I am in a hurry to remove it. With a lip liner beneath it feels slightly better though. The shade is a milky baby pink. It looks good on my NC 42 skin tone but only on good skin days. When am tanned or my face acts weird I do not dare to put this on. With a darker liner the shade looks better; when worn alone, the color does not cover my pigmented lips that well even after 2-3 swipes. Also the artificial fragrance is sligtly disturbing for my sensitive nose.

The staying power is poor. Being creamy and slippery it tends to move very easily and transfer to cups and spoons. Without lip liner the shade stays for 2 hours without much food or drink. With a lip liner the staying power

improves to 4 hours maximum.
