Neutrals are my all-time favorites and I do not leave a chance to grab them. Some suit my complexion, some don?t. This time I got a few shades from Essence and here is the review on the shade Come Naturally. Read on to know how it fared for my NC 42 skin tone.

My Experience with Essence Come Naturally Long Lasting Lipstick:
The packaging is simple but intelligent. The body is color coded along with a similar sticker at the base and a black band across the body. The body is matte plastic and the cap shuts with a click thus making is travel friendly. Nothing fancy about the packaging but it is definitely smart.

The texture is something I am not very fond of. It tends to slip away from the lips. It is way too creamy and hence gives that uncomfortable feel to the lips when applied. It does not settle and sits on the lips like a mask. That feeling makes me uncomfortable and I am in a hurry to remove it. With a lip liner beneath it feels slightly better though. The shade is a weird one. It looks gorgeous in the bullet but completely loses the charm when applied on the lips. The shade takes away life from the face, giving me a ?zombie? look. It is a pale mauve which looks whitish on the lips. It is so disappointing to have a shade that cannot be worn at all, ever with a different liner/gloss.
