Skin Tone: Fair

I?ll be doing a quick review of yet another shade from the Elle 18 Color Pops lipstick range. Without wasting a moment, let?s head straight to the review.

Price:

120 INR for 4.3 gm.
Ingredients:

Cocoa butter and jojoba oil are mentioned, complete ingredients are missing.

My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pops Chirpy Red Swaps Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a black plastic tube, with a black cap that has a picture of a girl. I find it extremely cute though it is flimsy. I would?ve liked if it were color coded, since it would be easy to locate the shades. The shade name and number is printed on a sticker at the bottom of the lipstick.

Shade: “Chirpy Red Swaps” is an orange shade with red tones to it, I would say it’s a reddish-orange color. It does not have any shimmer thankfully. It is a lively and beautiful color and will flatter most skin tones.
Texture: The lipstick bullet has two parts, a balmy core surrounded by the actual color. The texture of the lipstick is balmy and light. Even though it does not settle into fine lines, it tends to dry out the lips after a few hours and glides on the lips like a dream.  The soft texture might cause the bullet to break off easily, so one must be careful. I found that this particular shade has better texture compared to the rest of the lipsticks. It is creamy enough, but does not bleed. It transfers a bit less than others.
