I have a big stack of shimmer eyeshadows, but I do not wear them often because of two reasons – first, I feel they are reserved for special occasions only and secondly, I feel they might look out of place for regular use.  But with time, I have become more experimental and love trying out different eyeshadows and pigments. I would wear just matte browns and taupe shades and not try brighter and bolder colors, not even dare wear shimmer with day looks.

My Take on ELF Soiree Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow:
I am not that fond of mono eyeshadows because they occupy more space and are not that often reached for compared to a full palette, but it still does not deter me from picking them up every now and then, especially when the shades are as pretty as the one in this post.
Packaging:  A plastic clear jar holds the product which has a black opaque cap, the name of the product is written on the top in white. Packaging appears decent look-wise, but not so much when in hand.
