Recently, I picked up four shades from the “Intense Long Wear Lip Color” range as I had liked the ones that I had bought a while back.  Today, I am going to review the shade “Modern Love.”

My Experience with Coloressence Modern Love Intense Long Wear Lip Color:
The outer paper carton is a mix of silver and black with a window at the side for the lipstick. The details about the product are mentioned at the back of the “flimsy” paper box. The shade name and number details are mentioned at the base, but the sticker mentioning these details is not color coded, so you have to remember the shade name and the corresponding color.
Though the lipstick is smart and sturdy, I believe there’s room for improvement, especially the outer carton.

The shade “Modern Love” is a shocking pink for my skin tone. No doubt the shade is pretty and vibrant, but it comes off as a neon shade due my yellow undertones; women with skin tones below NC40 will definitely enjoy wearing this. Although the shade is not meant for daily wear to office/college, this is a fun day-wear shade for the weekend mini trips.

The texture of the lip color is lovely to say the least. It is thick and rich, yet not gooey. It does not feel heavy on the lips and as there is no shimmer in the shade, it does not feel gritty at all. In spite of being a long-wear color, it does not feel dry or uncomforta...
