Here’s one more shade from Coloressence that I had picked up recently. The name “Hot Red” sounds pretty intimidating, especially to red lipstick lovers. Read on to know how this shade fared for me.

My Experience with Coloressence Hot Red Intense Long Wear Lip Color:
The outer paper carton is a mix of silver and black with a window at the side for the lipstick. The details about the product are mentioned at the back of the ?flimsy? paper box. The shade name and number are mentioned at the base, but the sticker mentioning such details is not color coded; so you have to remember the shade name and the corresponding color.
Though the lipstick is smart and sturdy, I believe it has scope for improvement, especially the outer carton.

The shade “Hot Red” is a red color with dominant orange tones. You can call this shade as orange-red. If you are looking for that cool-toned red that will make your teeth appear white, stay away. This is for the warm red lovers; it can be a replacement for the super bright orange lipsticks which you always wanted to wear but never mustered the courage to sport. Try this, you might end up getting your “warm red.”

The texture of the lip color is lovely, to say the least. It is thick and rich yet not gooey. It does not feel heavy on the lips and as there is no shimmer in the shade, it does not feel gritty at all. In spite o...
