I had picked up many affordable mattes and regular wear lipsticks from this range from England. Obviously, they have shades for lighter skin tones and this “Taffeta Bloom” is one such shade. This is a pale milky pink color which is very blue-toned and it is pretty matte. However, it has some shortcomings, read on for more details.

My Experience with Collection Taffeta Bloom Lasting Colour Lipstick:
This lipstick comes in a simple matte case; the range has some glossy shades as well which come in a similar but non-matte case. “Taffeta Bloom” is a very light shade. It is almost like a pink primer for my lips. it completely mattifies and steals the color from my lips.
This lipstick has a very peculiar smell, the same issue that I faced with Jordana matte lipsticks. I am not too fond of this smell or color. It does not do anything for face or skin color. The texture is not too smooth, it has a very light texture to it, but feels patchy and you have to build it up, still it does not get cakey. It makes my lips look thinner.

This one can be a n*de pink shade for very pale skin tones. Remember, it is not a lipstick for matte lips. Overall, you can skip picking this lipstick, there’s nothing great about it.
