7 Ways to Get Rid of Discolored and Yellow Nails

Hopefully you all are enjoying these pre-monsoon showers. We all love nail polishes but they often lead to discolored nails. Along with nail paints, hard water, poor diet, and other household chores can make your nails yellow. So here are some remedies you all can use and how to use them.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Not only for teeth whitening but also for yellow discolored nails, hydrogen peroxide works great because of its whitening properties. This works well for yellow stained nails, but remember you can only use a solution that contains 3 percent hydrogen peroxide, not more.
Directions:
You need three tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and half cup of water. Then, mix them both. Soak your affected nails into the solution for two minutes. With the help of a soft tooth brush, scrub your nails. Then rinse with water and pat your nails dry and then apply a good moisturiser for hydration. Lemon
We all have heard that lemon can be used on stains because lemon is a natural bleaching agent and can remove any stain including yellow stains of nails.
Directions:
Take a bowl filled with fresh lemon juice. Soak your stained nails in it for 10 to 15 minutes. Then use a soft toothbrush to scrub the discolored nails. After that, rinse your nails in lukewarm water. Then, apply a moisturizer to lock the moisture in. Continue doing this regularly until you are satisfied with the results.
