Many of us have to venture out in bright sunlight which often can burn our skin. Hence, I am listing down six 100% natural remedies that will treat your sunburn.
1. Don?t unfriend sunscreen
It’s summertime, so make sunscreen your best buddy. Use a good sunscreen while going out. Apply it 30 minutes before you leave. Apply it to the most sun-affected areas. If sweating is your major problem and you are a swimmer, apply it again after every three hours. Apart from sunscreen, use a scarf to keep your face covered.
2. Aloe vera
Aloe vera can be the best friend of your sunburnt face. Aloe vera gel is cool and soothing for your face and burnt areas. This can be very useful for number of ailments such as sunburn, acne or more.
Directions:
For this, you will need an aloe vera leaf. Squeeze the gel out and apply the extracted gel to sunburned affected face or wherever you need. Allow it to work for around 10 minutes on your face and then wash with water.
3. Yogurt pack
Plain yogurt could be a good treatment too when it comes to sunburn. Cultured plain yogurt contains good amount of probiotics and enzymes which can heal up your red and sunburned skin.
