After using so much of cosmetics, there comes a saturation point for all of us where we feel like getting into deep skin and hair care regimen using some organic and herbal ingredients. This, indeed, is a great way to show your skin and hair some love after those torturing sessions. So here I am listing down six beauty recipes that you can try, using aloe vera. These treatments are awesome ways to pamper your skin and hair, and are perfect for the times when you wish to stay away from chemicals and heat.

For Soft and Smooth Hair
1. Nourishing Mask

All you need is aloe vera gel, a tablespoon of raw honey and 2 tablespoons of curd. Mix all the ingredients using a whisker. Apply this mask to your hair from your scalp to the roots. Massage a bit more on your scalp and then tie up your hair. Keep this mask on for half an hour. Then, wash off your hair with your regular shampoo. This is an easy mask and you can try this once a week. This will leave your hair highly nourished and smooth. 2. Leave-In Conditioner
The second way is to use aloe vera gel directly, if you are using a readymade one. If you use the natural one from the plant, it won’t be as effective. So whenever I am in hurry or I do not find time for the mask, I use aloe vera gel as a leave-in conditioner. Use this when your hair is damp, and not really wet.
