This year is going by so fast, I can’t believe it’s already fall and we’re so close to the holidays. There are a few ways I switch up my beauty routine around this time of year. Small tweaks to your makeup and skincare will make all the difference as we go from fall to winter. Here are a few things to try:
ADD JEWEL TONES
I’ll never completely abandon my favorite nude and blush shades, but I do like to play with deeper hues for fall. Maybe it’s a slightly more maroon shadow, a vampy lip color, or a burgundy manicure.

Summer weather and dewy makeup go hand-in-hand. Around this time of year, I prefer to switch back to my favorite matte foundations, powder formulas, mattifying primers I may have given up in favor of a glistening base.
BETTER LIP CARE
It’s easy to neglect your lips in the warmer months, but I like to make sure I’m paying mine a bit more attention during fall and winter. The cool air can cause more chapping so I try to give them an extra dose of hydration.
