Kitchen DIY beauty products.
It’s amazing how many ingredients you have right in your pantry, spice rack, or refrigerator that can be combined to create your own (and cheap!) natural makeup or fix a beauty product!  It’s fun to see what you can whip up in the kitchen.  Vivian especially loves to join me when I make my own teeth whitener paste and sugar lip scrub:)
Think back to Egyptian times when the women had to make their own cheek stains from red ochre (naturally colored clay) that was mined and washed then dried in the sun to achieve the red pigment. Or their mascara made from kohl (black) and malachite (green) used as eyeliner.  
So of course we don’t have to go that old school, but there are some easy modern day beauty hacks and recipes for your skin and makeup for todays woman!  Here are some of my favorites that I have actually tried and succeeded at (#1, 2, & 3), and a couple that I am going to DIY very soon (#4, & 5)!
1. Quick & Easy Teeth Whitener : Take 1/4 cup baking soda + half of a lemon wedge and squeeze it into the soda then mix in a small cup with a spoon until it makes a very thick paste. Brush the paste onto your teeth with a toothbrush for less than one minute then rinse off with water. Your teeth will be a shade whiter than when you started.  Much cheaper than white strips or going to the dentist for whitening trays!  (tip – I have used the squirt lemon juice which works okay, but the real lemon wedge is...
