Foundations are available not just in different shades but in different textures too. And choosing the right kind of foundation is as important as choosing the right shade!

1. Liquid foundation

Liquid foundation or the cream-like foundation is the most common and basic foundation. Most of us prefer using a liquid foundation because of the ease of use; you can use your finger tips or a brush or a sponge. Liquid/cream foundations provide a bit heavier coverage and are formulated for normal to dry skin. 2. Oil-free foundation:

As the name suggests, an oil-free foundation is specially created for women with oily skin. These foundations are formulated with water and not using oil. Because it gives a complete matte finish look, you need to blend it as soon as you apply it on your face.
3. Stick foundation:

Stick foundations are essentially cream-to-powder foundations in a stick form. On a general note, stick foundations are much heavier in texture as compared to other liquid and cream foundations. Stick foundations also work as concealers. The only drawback is they are actually heavy in texture and make your face look more of cakey.
