Can someone explain how the Tarte sale works" I don’t get it. I’m deadly serious. It sounds great in print: “Up to 70% Off sale plus an extra 20% off with code EXTRA20 and free shipping”. That sounds amazing but the 70% thing just isn’t adding up. I see some items with only a dollar or even three dollars knocked off the price. So, it’s like, maybe 25ish% off the total" Granted the print does read “Up to” but I did raise a brow at items that only had a dollar knocked off the original retail cost. Like dude, this isn’t a sale to me.

I’m seeing some fantastic deals for sure like the Precious Gems Amazonian Clay Cheek Palette is $29 and after the EXTRA20 code it’ll break it down to $17 bucks with free shipping (the same deal is at sephora.com by the way with code EXTRA20OFF)! Actually, a lot of the same deals are available at Sephora should you want to indulge there instead. I think the moral of the story is this sale is a little disappointing. I’ve seen WAY better deals from Tarte during after-Christmas sales. There are still deals to be had though like the two below!
