Bath & Body Works Gingham Perfume launched earlier this month and of course, as soon as it did I immediately braved the Bath & Body Works frontier and the aggressive sales reps that man them to score a bottle.
The fragrance is available in a variety of different options including Fine Fragrance Mist, shower gel, Wallflowers, hand cream, you name it and it’s getting the Gingham treatment at Bath & Body Works this Spring. I personally skipped over all of it and had my eye on the prize which was the Gingham Eau De Parfum. At $49.50 for a 2.5 oz bottle it wasn’t exactly cheap but I had a trust 20% Off coupon and that helped make the price a little sweeter.
Gingham is pretty much as American as it gets. Think girls in poodle skirts sitting on gingham blankets in the park having a picnic with their boyfriend that looks oddly like a Ken doll. I dunno that’s just what comes to mind when I think of anything gingham related. It’s print that’s pretty much commonly associated with Bath & Body Works isn’t it" All their store accents, the bags you carry you hauls home in, it’s all a blue checkered gingham print. Creating a fragrance celebrating that heritage seems spot on for them and an easy sell!
