Dialing in via FaceTime, these strong female voices share their journey, alongside a radiant portrait that captures their essence.
As part of Illuminating Women: A Portrait Series, we?ve had the honor of speaking to a line-up of pretty awe-inspiring ladies (if we say so ourselves!) including Melissa Leong, Abbey Gelmi and Gai and Kate Waterhouse, along with Jayme Jo, Jessie and Jo Massoud. Last but certainly not least is Australian sprinter Morgan Mitchell. 
MORGAN
Mitchell was always going to be an athlete in some way, shape or form. She started Little Athletics as a youngster but put her athletics career on hold at 12 years old to focus on netball and basketball, both of which she played at a national level. However, Mitchell made her way back to the athletics track in her late teens. And good thing she did ? in 2016, Mitchell represented Australia at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
