It’s no secret that I love foundation. Foundation and lipstick are the things I’m always excited to test out. Maybe that’s because they make such a huge difference on your face, or maybe because I’m exceptionally picky about the results I want. But testing a new foundation so I can give you a personalized recommendation is one of my favorite parts of what I do here.

Lancome Teint Idol Ultra Wear Care and Glow Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid – this is the most recent foundation I?ve added to my round-up. I really love how it feels on my skin and that it adds a little bit of a natural-looking glow. If you have oily skin or are prone to a lot of shine on your face, you may not love this foundation. On that note, though, you can always set it with a little translucent setting powder if you want to absorb some excess oil.
For me, this is what I plan to wear in the winter when our weather gets a little drier and I?m looking for a fuller coverage finish. It has a lot of hydrating ingredients so if your skin is dry, this may be a great option for you!

Lancome Teint Idol Ultra 24H Long Wear Matte Foundation – I reach for this one if I need a flawless, full-coverage finish to my skin with a natural matte look. It doesn?t feel overly dry on the skin, nor does it feel quite as heavy as Estee Lauder Double Wear, for comparison’s sake. A little goes a long way, and it truly lasts all day on my skin.
