As a two-time Gritty Pretty Magazine cover girl and beauty brand founder, Kerr felt like an obvious choice to kick off GP’s newest platform. Best known for her skincare brand, KORA Organics, as well as her days walking the runway for Victoria’s Secret and some of the world’s top designers, Kerr reveals to Gritty Pretty that glamour wasn’t always a priority for the Gunnedah-native. “Growing up I was such a free spirit and just loved being outside and in nature,” she says of her childhood. “I knew that I had such a connection to nature and just loved the freedom that it brought.” It was this love of nature that also played a key role in Kerr’s discovery of crystals, which she now uses to filter all KORA Organics products through. Rose quartz, in particular, was a personal touch Kerr wanted to include to help spread positivity and self-love, something we could all do with a little more of.
