When it comes to tweakments (non-invasiive aesthetic procedures) fillers are my top choice. I don?t think there?s anything else that can provide such a good and lasting result with practically no downtime. However, there can be a negative side to using fillers and the potential problems need pointing out.
The biggest risk is disfigurement and infection which comes from using cheap, unbranded filler and being injected by someone who has had no medical training. Claire Coleman has written an in-depth investigation about this HERE. Obviously, the way to avoid such horror is to be treated only by a medically trained professional in a clinic setting.
There?s also the more ambiguous issue of woman having fillers at a young age. Though I think a strong case can be made for using filler to correct a feature that?s affecting confidence I?m not very comfortable with young women having filler to give themselves the generic Kardashian look. My view is that it?s best not to start treating your face too early and it’s my intention that the advice in this post is for those over forty. One of the big concerns women have is that they?ll end up looking puffy and weird. This is something I can completely relate to as it?s what happened the first time I had filler.
