Riri, babe, how you getting away with this sort of highway robbery" I love you but really, $18" Ok, we’ll give you one thing, your packaging is ace. The rose gold tin, the lid, it’s pretty darn chic but dry makeup brush cleansers are around $5-$6 a pop from a variety of brands. I mean, the J. Cat Beauty Dry Makeup Brush Cleaner I reviewed and loved a few years ago set me back $5.99 and I think it actually had a bit more surface area for my brush to move around in than the Fenty one.
Dry makeup cleansing sponges are pretty nifty. They have a rough surface area that almost has a Brillo-like feel and require no water nor soap to quickly remove eyeshadow or blush from a brush. If you need to quickly switch between colors this is a great way to do so as you simply swipe your brush across the pad a few times and it’ll remove the powder from your brush. This makes things easier when applying several eyeshadows in a look as you look won’t go muddy while blending due to colors polluting each other! It’s actually not as rough as brushes you’d think either. I was concerned I’d have split hairs or even shedding when using one but it actually doesn’t split the brush hairs at all.
