I think we have firmly established I’m a lip balm junkie and even though I don’t need more (I have enough for all of to get through the zombie apocalypse) I still feel the need to try any and all new formulas that launch.
So, of course, I had to grab up Wet n Wild Perfect Pout Gel Lip Balm to see what the deal was. These delightful little lip balms come housed in simple black packaging with a clear lid that’s 0.17 oz in size. I had one minor issue with the packaging, the balm doesn’t swivel completely down. This drives me a little batty since I tend to take a chunk off my balm when replacing the cap if I’m in a hurry. Aside from that, I thought the packaging quite reminded me of Wet n Wild from back in the day. The balm has a certain vintage feel to it. These are apparently Wet n Wild’s first gel lip balm. Honestly, it could be the first gel lip balm I ever tried even though I’m a lip balm connoisseur. I honestly I can’t think of any gel lip balms I have at the moment only gel lipsticks.
