Victoria’s Secret Bare Eau de Parfum is a new skin scent created to react with your body chemistry and produce a signature unique fragrance. The fragrance contains different musks with gorgeous sandalwood, mandarin Madagascar, and Egyptian violet. From my understanding, this will be a permanent part of Victoria’s Secret Fine Fragrance Collection going forward and is not a limited edition.
I sort of think of this as a nod to the viral sensation that PHLUR created called Missing Person. Missing Person is also a skin scent and creates an aura of something that is familiar when worn. Victoria’s Secret obviously was not duplicating that marketing by any means (as we know the love to copycat) but it just feels very PHLUR like the way they went about marketing this fragrance on social media, particularly on Tiktok. Honestly, it feels like they created the scent for Tiktok in the hopes it would gain as much attention as Missing Person did. That being said, this isn’t a dupe or a copycat of Missing Person. It’s different, unique, and quite an experience that I highly recommend trying out as for me, it’s one of their best fragrance releases in a very long time.
