I purchased this during the Too Faced Boss Lady Beauty Agenda ($58) during the Sephora VIB Early Access Holiday 2017 Event which is a limited edition eyeshadow palette, deluxe Better Than Sex Mascara, Melted Matte long Wear Lipstick, and a year-round planner with stickers as well as faux leather agenda cover to hold everything in.
Too Faced Holiday releases haven’t been terribly great the last few year’s but I almost always pick up one or two sets to review on the blog. I’d probably forgo purchasing this for myself given the opportunity even though it has some raving reviews on Sephora’s site at the moment. Don’t be deceived though, because aside from the packaging this might be a safe skip.
Here’s why.
The thing I noticed first about the Too Faced Boss Lady Beauty Agenda was the fact it reminded me so very much of the Totally Cute Eyeshadow Palette packaging wise. It’s a very cutesy packaging that might lean towards being juvenile. I see it like this, I’m either getting too old for cute packaging or this is in fact marketed towards tweens and teens that are ages 12 to 16. The agenda cover is fantastic. It’s a faux pink leather that has a tassel zip around. Inside you’ll find two folds to hold a planner plus there’s a tiny heart-shaped mirror, little pocket to hold credit cards, ID, or business cards, as well as a spot to hold a pen.
