I’m currently obsessed with Too Cool for School Coconut Sugar Facial Scrub ($25) and probably will be even deeper in love with it comes the Winter. I’ve been using this as my weekly exfoliating treatment (ok, so maybe I’ve been using it more than once a week but oh my god it’s so good) and it’s been such a treat for my dry skin!
I was a little concerned about purchasing it because coconut doesn’t seem to agree with my skin. I’m not allergic to it but sometimes when I use coconut skincare I seem to have some sort of weird, itch flare ups on my face. I tend to avoid it. This was thankfully a ok though! It does contain coconut oil but I had no issues at all!
I liked it because it really brought some of my greatest skincare memories from the past. It actually heats up when you use it so, I had that high school Biore Self Heating moment memory pop up! Remember that mask" The little pods they would come" And how they’d heat up making you feel like your did something amazing for your skin! I used them a ton in high school! They are still very much around but probably a death trap for skin ha..! I never researched the ingredients. I need to do that one day!
