The Injection Free Way to Plump Your Skin
A few weeks ago, I was perusing Snapchat, and I caught a 5 second mini review from one of my most trusted beauty sources that caught my eye. Jessica Richards, the know-it-all beauty maven, former Vogue stylist and current founder of Brooklyn?s Shen Beauty posted about her love for one particular beauty item: SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2.
I couldn?t help but test out this product immediately. I called my friends over at SkinCeuticals and asked for a sample. In the meantime, they invited me in to get the ?full experience? at one of their locations in the city. During the appointment, my lovely dermatologist explained why the product is just so good. This is what I learned:
It?s an anti-aging treatment meant to refill cellular lipids ? or in other words, plump the skin. Lipids compromise the skin?s natural protective barrier, so when the lipids are lacking, so is the appearance, the skin lacks fullness, lacks radiance and lacks texture. Yikes. This skin quenching power product also provides some major hydration, so it?s really good for those who suffer from super dry skin.
