Tarte Spicy Betch Pressed Pigment Palette ($24) arrives for the Spring 2020 with eight fiery pressed pigment shades. This loud palette is a follow up to the much cooler Icy Betch Eye and Cheek Palette that launched back in April.
I admit the first thing I thought when I seen the palette was “Uh Oh pressed pigments!” Pressed pigments aren’t always eye safe safe and they tend to stain or even irritate sensitive eyes but they’ve become the norm this past year haven’t they" Everyone and their mom has at least one more palettes with one to several unsafe eye shades. It’s a hotly debated topic since the shades are only eye safe here in the US and not in Europe. However, sensitive users do have to be aware when using them What surprised me about the Tarte Spicy Betch Pressed Pigment Palette was only three of the eight shades were deemed unsafe for eye use. Those shades were caliente, extra hot & burnin? u. I thought for sure all the shades would be an issue!

Interesting right" That makes this a little bit easier to pick up if you wanted it but were concerned about the “pressed pigment” part of the name.
The palette contains both matte and metallic shades but promo photos make it look like all mattes all day. But hey, you can never go by those right"
