Tarte Make Magic Happen Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
The new, limited edition Tarte Make Magic Happen Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette ($32) is a new Summer 2017 launch. I know, we’ve been a little burned with Tarte lately but they are slowly redeeming themselves in my eyes as the Clay Play Face Shaping Palette has actually become a stable product for me and I’ve been using it daily since purchasing it.
The Make Magic Happen Eyeshadow Palette caught my eye because it appeared to have some sort of new eyeshadow formulation and on some level it is a different formula for Tarte.
Let’s take a look at my review and swatches below.
I gotta admit this one impressed me a lot and I think I’ll make a lot of use out of this palette but it isn’t for everyone but I’ll get into that more in a bit. The first thing that surprised me was the size. This is pretty small! I’m not sure what I expected but I was thinking CD case size at the very least but it is considerably smaller and the size of the Tarte Double Duty Beauty Eye & Cheek Palette that I reviewed several months ago. None the less it still packs in nine shades that are 0.045 oz each. It’s not a lot of product but they aren’t charging you a crazy amount for it either. My shock at the size was quickly replaced and I was actually quite happy to have such a portable, travel friendly, and easy to store palette that was sized just right not to mention they even squeezed a very generously sized mirror inside.
